पहाड़ों में बढ़ते हुए, ब्रॉडलीफ वन पश्चिमी हिमालयी सबलपाइन शंकुधारी जंगलों में ग्रेड करते हैं । पेड़ की रेखा के ऊपर उत्तर-पश्चिमी हिमालयी अल्पाइन झाड़ी और घास के मैदान पाए जाते हैं । राज्य के पूर्वोत्तर का अधिकांश भाग काराकोरम-पश्चिम तिब्बती पठार अल्पाइन स्टेपी द्वारा कवर किया गया है । उच्चतम ऊंचाई के आसपास, कोई वनस्पति नहीं है, बस रॉक और ice.In पश्चिम कश्मीर लुभावनी पहाड़ी दृश्यों, स्पष्ट झीलों, रसीला वनस्पति और शानदार जंगलों के साथ एक सुंदर हिमालयी घाटी है ।
